Elliot founded OnSpec Packaging in response to demand for creative and honest solutions to packaging challenges. Since that time, he has assembled a team of industry experts with similar values to see projects through completion. Elliot is Managing Partner at Newpark Capital, a middle market private equity firm with offices in the San Francisco Bay area and Park City, Utah. He also serves on the Board of an innovative manufacturer of sculptural outdoor playground equipment and public art. He has conducted business on five continents in over a dozen countries, and participated in over $20 Million in mid-market equity financings.
Kevin Byrne
project resource strategy
Kevin works with OnSpec in defining its customer engagement strategy. By understanding customer values and needs, Kevin is able to match each project with the most appropriate team resources. Kevin is also an expert in designing creative strategies to customer supply chain needs. When not engaged in the wonderful world of packaging, you may find Kevin spending time with his family, perhaps around a campfire, somewhere in Northern California.
Chris Olsen
Manufacturing and Engineering
Chris knows how to engineer product for China manufacturing (which makes designing product for domestic manufacturing a breeze). With over 20 years of experience as an Entrepreneur, Inventor, and Executive, Chris brings his talents to Onspec to help navigate the often opaque world of contract manufacturing. Chris and Elliot worked closely together traveling to over 20+ international packaging manufacturing locations for plant qualifications and audits. When not working on optimizing the design or engineering for the next best foamer pump or trigger sprayer, Chris may be found either promoting his invention, the Fit top Bottle, or exploring the Southern Utah desert on his mountain bike.
Caz Werp
E-Commerce PACKAGING specialist
Caz brings his experience to OnSpec to help launch a special initiative, packaging for e-commerce. As a former general manager of a contract filling business, a sales agent for multiple packaging manufacturers, and a 2-year contract in Amazon’s Frustration Free Packaging group – Caz brings a plant to doorstep perspective to OnSpec that helps us stay in front of the needs of brand companies that retail and distribute online. In addition to his work with OnSpec, Caz is an entrepreneur who is making waves in the wine industry through his companies leadership position in Mobile Wine Bottling. Caz and his family (wife and 2 kids) are huge Seattle Seahawks fans.
